NMPA resumes its one-year time limit allowed for responding to reviewers.

China NMPA Medical Device News ---- The time allowed for supplementary documents is back to the one-year limit at NMPA for medical device registrations in China.


In line with relaxed measures on Covid-19, on February 20, 2023, NMPA announced the adjusted procedure on the time allowed for providing supplementary documents for the technical review of the medical device registration at the NMPA.

1) For cases which have received NMPA's feedback on the first technical review before February 20, 2023, the time required for providing supplementary documents is granted with an extension of one year.


2) For cases which have received NMPA's feedback on the first technical review after (and including) February 20, 2023, the time required for providing supplementary documents is back to the normal limit of one year.
